• You'll need to remove the factory tailgate catch to install the carrier.
• Note that some aftermarket tail light covers may interfere when the tailgate is fully opened.
• High lift jacks are not compatible with the accessory mounting holes on the Jeep JL tire carrier, as they may come into contact with the tail light when fully opened.
