This Round Tail Light Conversion Kit for Jeep JK/JKU enables you to replace factory tail lights, which are prone to trail damage due to their 3" projection from the body, with flush mounted round style lights that fit within the factory tail light opening with minimal modifications. Crafted using CNC precision to conform to the JK/JKU rear corner sheet metal, this kit includes two steel cover plates with 6 mounting holes each, as well as cutouts sized to accept many off-the-shelf grommet style 4" round lights. With a stainless steel fastener included and compatible with both incandescent and LED tail lights, this product is ready to be custom painted or powder coated to your desired color scheme. Note: LED lights require resistors (MB5519 sold separately) for proper operation with Jeep JK Can Bus system. Please be aware that cutting the factory sheet metal is necessary for installation, and the factory lights cannot be reinstated afterwards. Some round LED tail lights are available with a back up light.  However, additional lighting for back up purposes may be required.
