JL/JLU X Factor X2 Long Arm Upgrade

The Rock Krawler Suspension JL/JLU Wrangler X-Factor-X2 Long-Arm Upgrade System is specifically designed for Wrangler owners who want to push their vehicle to its limits with hard core rock crawling.

The Rock Krawler X2 Longarm System features an Independent 3 link design front & rear for maximum articulation and off-road performance. Our proprietary design utilizes a double adjustable front and rear upper control arm that increases the factory hardware to 14mm, 2 3/8" mounting width and 1" Pro Krawler joints at each end. The arm itself is a chromoly solid steel arm meant to carry all the forces of the suspension.

The rear suspension provides adjustable anti-squat with "X2" rear suspension geometry with enhanced rear instant center(s) and rear roll center(s). As you drive on the highways or the trails, the system feels stable, safe and strong whether you are running the stock drivetrain or pushing high horsepower through the chassis.

We have built the X-Factor X2 system to be the toughest 3-Link setup on the market. At the frame connections of the lower control arms, our "Adventure Series" maintenance free joint is used to cut down on the amount of grease points and provide excellent vibration absorption and proper joint misalignment when off-road. The combination of high clearance long arms and 3 link suspension geometry lets you dominate the trails.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Gas Tank Conversion (2-Door JL’s Only). A JK gas tank or any aftermarket gas tank that mounts in the rear or bed of the vehicle.
• Use of an aftermarket front axle housing with FAD Delete to Weld the Front Upper Arm Mount.
• Welding of the Front and Rear Long Arm Mounts.
• Removal of the OEM frame side upper and lower control arm mounts, front and rear.
• Removal of the OEM axle side rear lower control arm and track bar mounts.
• Modifying of the OEM rear shock mounts.
• Welding of the raised rear upper shock mounts.

RECOMMENDATIONS:

• New front CV Driveshaft for all front shocks with a maximum extended length greater than 29 inches.
• Recommend installing limiting straps to avoid over extension of suspension components post successful installation.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

• OEM hardware not included. Hardware included with rock krawler supplied mounts/brackets.
• Aftermarket axle mount kits available, call for details.
• Aftermarket rear axle cradles with link mount available, call for details.
• Utilizes stock OEM rear track bar.
• RK06692B - JL rear adjustable track bar can be added. Only valid for lift heights of 2.5” and above. Lift heights 3.5” or greater lift heights will not use the rear track bar mount provided in the kit as it uses the stock OEM Mount.
• Rock Krawler Suspension always recommends a professional alignment be performed post any upgrade by an alignment specialist with off road experience.
