When using 42" & 43" tires along with long travel suspension systems on your 2018-Current Jeep JL/JLU/JT, the limitation in "up" travel in your suspension is the underside of the fender. We have solved this by raising the uppermost section of the fender by several inches, effectively increasing your suspension travel substantially.

The Motobilt replacement front highline fender flares for the Jeep JL/JLU/JT are manufactured from ultra strong but light weight aluminum. They are 3D CAD designed using modern 3D scanning technology to ensure the perfect fit on your Jeep JL/JLU/JT. The fender flares will work on all versions of the Jeep JL/JLU/JT including the Sport, Rubicon, Sahara and more.

The Motobilt replacement highline front fender flares feature a raised section using a “chopped” Rubicon flare as a benchmark for height to provide even more clearance for larger extra diameter tires up to 43”. We provide extra clearance for the factory hood latches as well.

Ships bare aluminum, which is softer and more easily damaged than steel. If you are looking for ultimate protection and plan to wheel your rig, you should consider the steel fender version instead. These are meant for those who value weight savings over strength.  You can color match or sand for a custom look.

NOTES:

  • IMPORTANT: If installing with the High line fenders (MB1196 or MB1196-A) one of the lower #10 nut serts will need to be removed to accept the larger 5/16” bolts that are used with the high line fenders.  Also the two upper mounting bolts should use the 1/4” nut serts versus the #10.
  • 28 Lbs lighter than steel
